Sino-Danish College PhDs’ Education Plan for International students (General Principle)
*This page is for student cohort 2022 and after.
为促进我校研究生教育的国际交流和合作,规范管理,保障培养质量,根据《中华人民共和国学位条例》、《中华人民共和国学位条例暂行实施办法》、《中国科学院大学学位授予工作细则》以及“教育部关于批准设立中国科学院大学中丹学院的函”(教外办学函(2013)24号),和“中丹项目”相关协议,特制定中丹学院丹方博士研究生培养方案(总则)。
To promote international cooperation and exchanges, standardize administration and guarantee educational quality, this PhDs’ Education Plan is formulated in accordance with Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Academic Degrees, The Interim Measures for the Implementation of Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Academic Degrees, Work Rules for Degree Granting in University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Approval of Ministry of Education on the Establishment of Sino-Danish College of University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and agreements of Sino-Danish Programme.
中国科学院大学中丹学院博士研究生包括中方学生和丹方学生。中方学生申请中国科学院大学博士学位依据《中国科学院大学中丹学院中方博士研究生培养方案》执行;丹方学生申请中国科学院大学博士学位,按本规定执行。
PhD students enrolled in Sino-Danish College (SDC) of University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) include both Chinese and international students. Chinese students shall abide by University of Chinese Academy of Sciences Sino-Danish College PhDs’ Education Plan for Chinese students. International students shall follow this provision.
一、培养目标
培养具有进取、创新、协作、唯实的科研道德、认真的科学态度,理论联系实际的工作作风的科学研究或专门技术领域的高级专业人才。
To train researchers or specialists with innovative, cooperative and practical research ethics and rigorous scientific approach in relevant fields
二、学科及研究方向
共涉及25个二级学科(附件1)。

三、培养方式及学习年限
(一)培养方式:采取理论学习与科学研究相结合,指导教师个别指导与导师小组集体培养相结合的培养形式。原则上,“中丹项目”招收培养的研究生为双导师制。中方导师需为中丹学院导师备案库中的导师。
(二)培养类型:学术学位博士研究生
(三)学习年限
基本学制一般为3年,最长修读年限(含休学)不得超过6年;在中方开展论文研究、实践的时间不少于6个月。
For international PhD students, the study duration is in general 3 years, with the longest possible duration (including suspension) of 6 years. Students shall be eligible for applying for UCAS degree only after completing at least 6 months’ dissertation research/social practice in China.
四、课程学习及必修环节
(一)课程学习
丹方研究生需要了解中国文化,并有一定的汉语基础。在修读期间,丹方研究生需要完成基础汉语口语(2学分)、中国概况(2学分)两门中国语言文化课程的学习。已经获得汉语水平考试(HSK)3级的学生可以申请免修。
International students shall have basic knowledge of Chinese culture and language. During their study period, international PhD students are required to complete Chinese Language (2 credits) and Chinese Panorama (2 credits) two courses. Students who have obtained HSK Level 3 can apply for exemption.
丹方博士研究生在学期间须完成中国科学院大学承认的11个学分的课程学习。中国科学院大学认可丹方博士生在丹麦大学所修学分。在丹方大学获得30ECTs课程学分,可等同于完成中国科学院大学7个学分的课程学习。
To apply for UCAS degree, international PhD students shall obtain 11 UCAS credits. Credits obtained from Danish cooperative universities can be recognised by UCAS. 30 ECTs from Danish cooperative universities can be transferred into 7 UCAS credits.
(二)课程设置方案
经研究生中丹双方导师认可的学科基础课、专业基础课和专业课均可作为博士生学位课程,并报中丹学院审核备案。
Basic courses, professional courses and specialized courses approved by both Danish and Chinese supervisors can be included as PhD degree courses. All courses shall be assessed and approved by Sino-Danish College.
(三)必修环节
丹方博士研究生在学期间须完成开题报告(2学分)、中期考核(2学分)、学术报告和社会实践(共2学分)等必修环节,总计6个学分。
PhD students shall complete compulsory sessions including Opening Speech (2 credits), Mid-term Assessment (2 credits), and Academic Report and Social Practice (2 credits), 6 credits in total.
博士研究生的开题考核原则上应于入学后第二学期结束前完成。博士研究生开题报告与中期考核的时间间隔原则上不少于半年。开题报告考核小组须由至少5-7位具有由正高级职称人员或具有博士导师资格人员组成。开题报告会由考核小组组长主持,采取 PPT 汇报和答辩相结合的方式进行,考核时间博士生应不少于 25 分钟。考核小组对论文选题、研究思路以及论文研究计划进行点评和提问。开题报告可以采用较为灵活(现场会议、视频会议等)的方式进行。
PhD. students shall complete Opening Speech before the end of the second semester in principle. The interval between Opening Speech and Mid-term Assessment shall be at least half a year. The assessment panel shall be 5 to 7 experts who are professors or experts with PhD supervision qualification. The chair of assessment panel hosts the assessment. The assessment includes PPT presentation and Q&A sessions. Whole process shall be at least 25 minutes. The panel will give suggestions and ask questions in the choice of thesis research topic, research approach and research plan. The Opening Speech can be conducted on site or via video link.
开题报告成绩分为优秀、良好、合格和不合格四等。通过开题报告的学生可获得必修环节中的2学分。通过开题报告的研究生,应在一周内根据考核小组的评议意见对开题报告进行修改和完善,经导师签字同意后将《中国科学院大学研究生学位论文开题报告登记表》和《中国科学院大学研究生学位论文开题报告》报学院存档。未通过开题报告的研究生应在3个月内重新提出申请,经导师审阅同意后进行第二次开题报告。两次开题未通过者,须由导师认定是否适合继续培养并报学院审批,由学院按照学校相关学生管理规定处理。开题报告通过后,研究生应正式进行学位论文工作,如因特殊原因需要变动论文的核心内容时,需重新开题。开题报告未通过的研究生不得进入中期考核阶段。
The grades for Opening Speech include “Excellent”, “Good”, “Pass” and “Poor”. Students shall get 2 credits for the pass of Opening Speech. Within a week after the Opening Speech, students shall revise the Opening Speech report according to assessment panel feedbacks. After signed by supervisor for approval, the Opening Speech proposal and Registration Form for Opening Speech shall be sent to SDC office. Students who do not pass the assessment shall be approved by supervisor to be reassessed in 3 months. For students who do not pass the assessment in the second time, the supervisor will determine whether the student shall continue the education and inform SDC office for approval according to UCAS regulations. After the pass of Opening Speech, students undertake thesis research. Student shall be reassessed if essential content of thesis is changed for a particular reason. Students who fail to pass Opening Speech cannot undertake Mid-term Assessment.
博士研究生原则上需完成中期考核。中期考核与论文答辩的时间间隔原则上不少于半年。考核小组由中方导师和丹方导师组成。考核组长为中方导师。中期考核由考核小组组长主持,采取 PPT 汇报和答辩相结合的方式进行,考核时间博士生应不少于 30 分钟。考核小组对论文选题、主要研究进展以及论文撰写计划进行点评和提问。中期考核可以采用较为灵活的方式(现场会议、视频会议等)进行。
PhD. shall complete Mid-term Assessment in principle. The interval between Mid-term Assessment and thesis defence shall be at least half a year. The assessment panel consist of Chinese and Danish supervisors. The chair of assessment panel is Chinese supervisor who hosts the assessment. The assessment includes PPT presentation and Q&A sessions. Whole process shall be at least 30 minutes. The panel will give suggestions and ask questions in the choice of thesis research topic, main research progress and research plan. Mid-term Assessment can be conducted on site or via video link.
研究生中期考核成绩分为优秀、良好、合格和不合格四等。通过中期考核的学生可获得必修环节中的2学分。通过中期考核的研究生,应在一周内根据考核小组的评议意见对中期报告进行修改和完善,经中方导师签字同意后将《中国科学院大学研究生学位论文中期报告登记表》和《中国科学院大学研究生学位论文中期报告》报学院存档。未通过中期考核的研究生应在3个月内重新提出申请,经中方导师审阅同意后进行第二次中期考核。两次考核未通过者,须由导师认定是否适合继续培养并报学院审批,由学院按照学校相关学生管理规定处理。中期考核未通过的研究生不得进入毕业答辩环节。
The grades for Mid-term Assessment include “Excellent”, “Good”, “Pass” and “Poor”. Students shall get 2 credits for passing Mid-term Assessment. Within a week after assessment, students shall revise the Mid-term Assessment report according to assessment panel feedbacks. After signed by supervisor for approval, the Mid-term Assessment Report and Registration Form for Mid-term Assessment shall be sent to SDC office. Students who do not pass the assessment shall be approved by supervisor to be reassessed in 3 months. For students who do not pass the assessment in the second time, the supervisor will determine whether the student shall continue the education and inform SDC office for approval according to UCAS regulations. Students who fail to pass Mid-term Assessment cannot apply for thesis submission.
(3)学术报告和社会实践
Academic Report and Social Practice
学术报告是指学生在国内外学术会议上所做报告(包括口头报告和墙报),博士研究生应不少于3次。社会实践是指学生较好地完成研究助理、教学助理、管理助理的工作或参加了学院组织的社会实践活动,博士研究生应不少于2次。学生的学术报告和社会实践由导师审核是否通过,通过后可获得必修环节中的2学分。
Academic Report refers to the report delivered (oral report or poster) in academic conference/seminar at home and abroad. PhD. students shall complete at least 3 reports. Social Practice refers to being the research assistant, teaching assistant and administrative assistant or attending social practices at school. PhD. students shall complete at least 2 times. Supervisor assesses whether students complete them. Students will obtain 2 credits for the completion.
五、学位论文
(一)学位论文撰写
研究生学位论文须在中丹双方导师共同指导下,由研究生本人独立完成。研究生学位论文须按照《中国科学院大学学位论文撰写规定》书写。正文可用英文撰写,须有中英文摘要。
Dissertation shall be conducted and accomplished independently by students under the instructions of both Chinese and Danish supervisors. Students shall write their dissertation in accordance with Graduate Thesis/Dissertation Writing Requirements of University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Students shall write the degree dissertation in either Chinese or English and English and Chinese abstracts are required.
(二)学位论文提交
论文提交时间需与丹方论文提交时间一致,学位论文评阅和答辩不得晚于在论文提交后的5个月。
UCAS dissertation submission shall be at the same time with the dissertation submitted to the Danish university. UCAS Dissertation review and defence shall be completed no late than 5 months after submission.
(三)学位论文评阅
论文评阅人可由导师推荐,须经中丹学院组织博士生所在领域PCs确定。博士学位论文须聘请5-7位同行专家评阅,评阅人应为教授或相当的专业技术职务的专家(含具有博士生导师资格的同行专家),其中,至少有2位外单位(非导师同单位)专家。中方导师和丹方导师不能作为论文评阅人。评阅人须对学位论文写出详细评语,供论文答辩委员会参考。学位论文评阅过程中,如有一位评阅人不同意答辩,应增聘两位评阅人进行评阅。累计有两名评阅人不同意答辩,学位论文不能进行答辩环节,本次学位申请无效。
Dissertation reviewers can be recommended by supervisors and shall be approved by PCs in relevant field organized by Sino-Danish College. For PhD dissertation, 5 to 7 experts shall be invited to review the student’s dissertation and give detailed comments. Reviewers shall be professors or experts with equivalently professional and technical titles and shall not include the student’s Danish and Chinese supervisor. Among them, at least 2 experts from other institutions/organisations (not from supervisor’s school/institute) shall be invited. Detailed comments on the dissertation shall be provided as reference to the defence panel. When an expert disapproves of thesis defence application, the thesis will be sent to two more reviewers. When two reviewers in total disapprove, the thesis defence application will be denied.
(四)学位论文答辩
论文答辩委员会的组成由中丹学院审核批准。博士学位论文答辩委员会应由5-7位同行专家组成,答辩委员会成员应为教授或具有相当专业技术职务的专家,答辩委员会主席应由博导师资格教授(不含导师)担任,成员中博士生导师一般不少于2/3,且至少有2位为外单位(非导师同单位)同行专家。中方导师和丹方导师不得作为答辩委员会成员。学位论文答辩可以远程视频进行。学位论文的评阅人原则上参加论文答辩委员会。答辩时间至少50分钟(其中报告时间至少30分钟,提问、答辩时间至少20分钟)。
Defence panel shall be approved by Sino-Danish College. The panel for PhD students shall include 5 to 7 experts from relevant fields. Panel members shall be professors or experts with equivalently professional and technical titles. The chairman of the panel shall be professor with PhD supervision qualification and must not be the student’ supervisors. Among all panel members, at least two thirds shall be PhD supervisors and the panel shall include at least 2 experts from other institutes/organisations (not from supervisor’s school/institute). Danish or Chinese supervisor cannot be defence panel member. Defence can be conducted on site or via video link. Dissertation reviewers shall be included in the panel in principle. Defence shall include at least a 30-minute report/presentation and a 20-minute discussion.
六、科研成果要求
丹方博士生申请国科大博士学位的科研成果要求遵循校部相同一级学科研究生学位论文答辩资格的科研成果要求。研究生发表的学术论文,其本人署名单位须包含中国科学院大学中丹学院和中丹科研教育中心。
International PhD. students shall abide by the research achievement requirements of Level I Subject for defence application. Students shall include Sino-Danish College, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Sino-Danish Centre for Education and Research as affiliations.
七、涉密学位论文
按照《中国科学院大学研究生学位论文保密管理规定》执行。
Conducted in accordance with Provisions on Degree Thesis/Dissertation Confidentiality in University of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
