The Chinese government had signed 200 cooperation documents with 138 countries and 30 international organizations by January 2020, to jointly promote the “Belt and Road” initiative. 2020 is a critical year as we aim for high-quality development of this initiative. At present, COVID-19 has spread in the world, bringing new challenges for the "Belt and Road" initiative. In this lecture, Dr WANG Wen will summarize progress and analyze future prospects of the “Belt and Road” initiative.
截至2020年1月，中国政府已经同138个国家和30个国际组织签署了200份共建“一带一路”合作的文件。2020 年是“一带一路”倡议从传播规划期转向高质量发展期的关键一年。当前，新冠疫情在全球范围蔓延，“一带一路”倡议也面临着新的挑战。本次讲座将对“一带一路”建设七年发展成果进行总结，正视发展挑战，展望“一带一路”建设的美好前景。
Speaker: Dr. WANG Wen
Dr. WANG Wen is a Professor and the Executive Dean of Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies, Vice President of Silk Road School, Renmin University of China. He is also the Secretary-General of Green Finance Association of China, Consultant Fellow at Counselors’ Office of the State Council of China. Dr. WANG worked as Chief Op-eds Editor and Editorial Writer at Global Times, and won the China News Awards in 2011. He has edited and independently written over 30 books including A Promising China-A Think-tank Scholar’s Global Speech (2017), Green Finance for the Belt and Road Initiative (2017), Eurasian Era (2014), G20 and Global Governance (2016) and lots of books are best-selling of the year. Besides, he is now the consultant expert for several Chinese government ministries including the People's Bank of China, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Commerce etc.. He won the honor of “2014 Top Ten Figures of Chinese Think Tank”, “2015 China Reform and Development Pioneers”, “2016 Influential Figures of Chinese Think Tank”, “2017 Chinese Famous Academic and Cultural Scholar”, , and “special prize for policy research” in "National High-Level Think Tank" construction outstanding achievements of Renmin University of China in 2019.
专家简介：王文，中国人民大学重阳金融研究院执行院长、丝路学院副院长、特聘教授，中国金融学会绿色金融专业委员会秘书长，国务院参事室金融研究中心研究员。曾任《环球时报》编委（主管评论）和社评起草人，2011年“中国新闻奖”获得者，专译编著作包括《看好中国：一位智库学者的全球演讲》《伐谋：中国智库影响世界之道》等30余本。是多个部委的咨询专家，曾获“2014中国十大智库人物”、“2015中国发展改革领军人物”、2016影响中国年度智库、2017年文化名家暨“四个一批”人才、2019年人大“国家高端智库”建设优秀成果对策研究特等奖等荣誉。
